Local by default

Privacy policy

Local AI and local data

Froppy is designed around Ollama on the user's machine. App data lives in local storage and should not be sent to a cloud service by default.

User controls

Settings expose local AI readiness, pet options, quiet hours, activity-awareness controls, chat history controls, memory clearing, sound controls, and reminder controls.

  • Froppy stores pet state, notes, reminders, chat history, settings, and memories locally.
  • Direct download clicks may increment a simple Supabase counter so public releases can show a download count.
  • Optional update signups store the submitted name, email, optional source, optional message, and optional marketing opt-in in Supabase.
  • Website contact requests send the submitted name, email, topic, and message to the support inbox through Resend.
  • Froppy may use broad activity signals, such as idle time or app category, only through privacy gates.
  • Froppy does not read screen contents, screenshots, browser pages, documents, messages, typed text, or raw window titles.
  • Froppy does not use analytics, crash reporting, cloud AI, voice input, or richer OS monitoring unless those are explicitly approved and documented later.
