Release notes
Froppy release notes
Public releases should be easy to verify and troubleshoot. This page records the current Windows preview, known issues, and checksum path.

Version 0.7.0
The current Windows preview includes the transparent pet window, compact action dock, local AI readiness, chat, notes, reminders, focus timer, sound settings, onboarding, and public download surfaces.
- Windows x64 NSIS installer.
- Managed llama.cpp setup for local AI after launch.
- Qwen2.5 1.5B Instruct GGUF Q4_K_M required model setup.
- Installer checksum: 5CEA00A6831DC4D57F97711DBD75B6DC8954CA8EE96A0236A2978A661D1E8871
Known preview issues
These should remain visible until the public-release QA matrix closes them.
- Windows SmartScreen may warn on unsigned preview installers.
- Fresh-profile install, offline setup, startup registry, uninstall cleanup, high-DPI, and multi-monitor checks still need real QA evidence.
- Voice Commands are not release-ready and should not be marketed as available.
Checksum guidance
Each public installer should publish a SHA-256 sidecar and verify the website label matches the artifact.
- Publish the checksum route with release notes.
- Verify the downloaded installer hash before broad sharing.
- Record final artifact name, size, hash, release commit, and deployment URL.
